Youth Camps: Farm/Art
Calling all 6-11 year olds to join us on the farm for week-long, half-day camps this summer! Each week will offer a unique opportunity to explore the farm, make new friends, and learn while immersed in the natural world. Get a good foundation in plant and animal care during our Farm Weeks, and bring your creative energies to Art weeks. All camps take place entirely outside or in the shelter of the open barn.
We value Curiosity, Courage, Kindness, Creativity, Resourcefulness, Inclusivity, Collaboration, and Community. Camps are led by a licensed educator together with a farmer and teaching artists as appropriate.
Camps are Rain or Shine, and run Monday - Friday : 9am to 1pm
Please read the “Woodcrest Farm Visitor Guide” below. Contact us about our multi-child discounts!
Farm Camp
Weeks of: TBD
At Farm Camp, we will cultivate a love of growing food and caring for animals while having a whole lot of fun! Activities will include feeding and caring for the animals (goats, bunnies, chickens, pigs, ducks), planting and harvesting vegetables, hiking the trails and pastures, and exploring the pond and creek. All activities are rooted in outdoor play and learning and emphasize care and respect for the natural world. Ages 6-11.
Art on the Farm
Weeks of: TBD
Calling all artists and creative movers! Our Arts on the Farm Camp will allow young artists the unique opportunity to create their own art and movement - with goats (and all the other farm animals)! Campers will be encouraged to explore their creativity through nature-based art making and collaboration with others as they engage in physical movement & visual art projects. And of course we’ll have time for games and exploring the farm. Ages 6-11.

At our farm camp for older kids, we will cultivate a love of growing food and caring for animals while having a whole lot of fun! Our farm educators will provide age-appropriate opportunities for all campers, with older campers and teens actively participating in many of the daily operations at the farm with a focus on sustainable practices and natural systems - learning how we care for our animals, enrich the soil, and grow our own vegetables.
Teen Blacksmithing Camp

Bring your creativity and a desire to learn to Blacksmithing Camp; we’ll supply the rest! Campers will have the opportunity to work in a fully stocked professional forge with trained instructors as they craft items to take home with them. This project-based maker camp will teach fundamental blacksmithing techniques, shop and tool safety, and forge and fire maintenance as campers make hooks, fire tools, home decor, and more! All materials and PPE provided. Returning campers welcome.
