Learning at Woodcrest
We consider ourselves fortunate to have a large farm with lots of animals to hang out with and gardens to learn about, acres of woods and creeks to explore, and friendly people to meet and learn from. It’s wonderful to have this alternative learning space for our kids and family, and we hope your families enjoy their time here just as much as we do.

Creativity Camp (ages 6-11)
Calling all creative kids! Creativity Camp is a nature-based camp designed to unlock kids’ natural creativity through art, exploration, and fun. Campers will be encouraged to take creative risks, try different art forms, and connect their creativity to the farm and the natural world. To find inspiration and help connect our art and experience, we will also spend plenty of time getting to know the farm animals and adventuring in the beautiful natural areas surrounding the farm.

Farm Camp (ages 6-11)
Farm Camp invites campers to engage with the natural world and their innate curiosity through interactions with the land, animals, peers and child-led learning. In this experiential camp children will be farmers through hands-on care of animals and of their own garden! We leave space in each session’s curriculum to play, have unstructured exploration in our creek and woods, as well as bringing in the more specific interests of the campers. We utilize the natural invitations of the farm and its surroundings to facilitate creativity, play, wonder, self reflection and interpersonal skills. We strive to celebrate and honor the whole person of each child that comes to play and explore with us!
