Green Acres Farm
Green Acres sits on Dairyland Road, less than a mile East of Woodcrest Farm, and is home to Chris and Allan Green (Grandma and Grandpa) who co-founded Woodcrest. Since they’ve moved “down the road a piece” they’ve started Green Acres Farms where they grow produce, raise border collies, are developing an orchard, and maintain the source of Woodcrest’s all natural, grass fed beef. The farm offers views of rolling hills and woodland from the large picture windows of the Chalet, a cabin moved to the land and lovingly restored by the Green Family.
Dexter cattle are a small, hardy, dual-purpose breed that does very well on grass and forage, raised for meat and pet milk. Our USDA inspected beef is free-range livestock raised on grass and hay only. No BGH, food additives, or antibiotics.
